Time to Move on
Dear
Positive Way, my
boyfriend and I broke up 8 months ago. I moved out 5 months ago. We now live
6 blocks apart in a small town. He still calls me anywhere from 1-7 times a
day he says we’re working on the friendship and knows I want the
relationship back. Everyone says move on but when I try somehow I get
pulled back in. I have quit talking to him I don’t answer all his calls we
hardly see each other he got divorced and we moved in together in the town I
was known in. He bought the house we were renting and we had fights over
the house when we were breaking up. He seems to still care and worry about
me and his calls come all day and night but when we’re around each other I
get really nervous and upset. No one will talk to me anymore because they
think I’m stupid for hanging on and there’s a few guys that tell me just to
be patient that he’s working it all out. He is refinancing the house this
week and has remodeled it the way we talked about some of my stuff is still
in his garage and he keeps telling me not to move it till Nov 1. His best
friend and I hate each other and he is still in his life somewhat I was told
that maybe some day when he’s ready that he may want me back but he says he
doesn’t want anyone in his life right now but he still calls and makes sure
I’m there help. Signed momosut age 52.
Dear momosut, to get right to the point, it’s time
to move on. Don’t let this person’s indecisiveness run you around in
circles any more. Think about yourself and your future.
If you stay, all you will get is more of the fights and
conflict you have already had. You deserve better than that.
Move your stuff out of his garage and move your life in a
positive direction away from him.
