Expect the Best
When you are working on
your journey of spirituality it is important that you expect the best.
We get in life what we expect to get. So many people get caught up in
their negative thinking and expect doom and gloom in their lives. And
guess what - they get what they expected to get. And then when doom
and gloom happens they say something like "I knew this would happen to me.
I always have bad luck." They have created their own reality and
continue to create more of it because of what they expect to happen.
They don't hesitate to tell you "how right" they were about their
predictions. Some people seem to prefer to be "right" about their
predictions of doom and gloom rather than to be happy.
You are a co-creator of
your life's events and circumstances. You are the captain of your
own ship. Your ship is your conscious mind. Your thoughts and
expectations are the direction that your life takes. If you want to
change the direction that your life is headed then you must first change the
thoughts and expectations that are leading you in that direction. What
you expect to get you will get sooner or later. A simple shift in our
perception can create a positive change in our life. This change of
perception will allow for you to see possibilities and opportunities that
you may not have previously seen.
Our subconscious mind is
always awake monitoring our thoughts. It never sleeps. The
subconscious mind is aware of our every thought and especially takes notice
of our persistent thoughts and beliefs as well as our expectations.
Once it is clear on what those persistent thoughts and beliefs are it
diligently goes to work to attracts those things into your life.
Plant seeds of good things
in your thoughts and expectations. The best way to do this is through
affirmations. Affirmations will allow your focus to go back to
expecting the best. Start concentrating on all of the good things you
want for yourself and your well being. Start dreaming bigger and
better dreams for yourself and for your family. Imagine the happen
ending. Feel the excitement and joy that will come once your dreams
come true. Visualize the good things happening in your life.
Picture yourself having the thing you most desire. Your desire is your
prayer. Pray for excellent health, happiness, love, abundance, joy,
peace and harmony. Concentrate on the good that you want to happen in
your life. Expect it to happen. We get in life what we
habitually expect to get. Expect the Best!
