Relationship Deal
Breakers
Physical abuse,
mental
abuse, infidelity
, drug or alcohol abuse. What are your
relationship deal
breakers?
Relationship deal breakers
vary from person to person. Some people can tolerate and forgive
certain things that happen within the relationship and still stay in the
relationship. Other people set boundaries early on and once those
boundaries are crossed then they take steps to end the relationship.
If you are dating and not
in a committed relationship then the deal breakers list should be obvious
before any further relationship is developed. Don't live in denial
thinking "I can change this person" You can't change them and it is naive to
think you have that much control or influence over another person.
If you are in a marriage
without children then once a deal breaker shows up it is best to take action
before children are involved.
If you are in a committed
relationship with children then once a
deal breaker shows up
immediate action needs to be taken to get help for this problem. Don't
let it go on and on for years. The sooner you take action to help with
the problem and seek out professional help and guidance the better your
chances are at getting beyond the problem and possibly saving and/or healing
the relationship.
