Drug Side Effects

Lortab™ Tablets (hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets) are prescribed for the relief of moderate to moderately severe pain.  This prescription narcotic is also sold under the trade names of Anexsia, Anolor DH5, Bancap HC, Dolacet, Lorcet 10/650, Lorcet HD, Lorcet Plus, Lortab, Lortab 10, Lortab 5/500, Lortab 7.5/500, Lortab Elixir, Norco, T-Gesic, Vicodin, Vicodin ES, Vicodin HP, and Zydone. 

It is critical that you take these medications only under qualified medical care.  It is also critical that you consult with your doctors on how best to stop using them.

Here are some of the possible side effects of hydrocodone use at prescribed levels:

bulletphysical dependence - can occur quickly

bulletdry mouth

bulletdecreased appetite

bullettiredness
bulletlightheadedness
bulletreduced mental clarity

bulletvisual disturbances

Hydrocodone withdrawal symptoms may include but are not limited to:

bulletintense cravings for the drug
bulletirritability
bulletnausea or vomiting
bulletmuscle aches
bulletrunny nose or eyes
bulletdilated pupils
bulletsweating
bulletdiarrhea
bulletyawning
bulletfevers
bulletchills
bulletinability to sleep
bulletdepression
 

They are generally not considered to be life threatening and can last from 7 to 14 days.  This is how I detoxed.   Consult with your medical professionals on how to use these drugs and how to stop using them.
