Lortab™ Tablets (hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen tablets) are prescribed for the relief of moderate to moderately severe pain.  This prescription narcotic is also sold under the trade names of Anexsia, Anolor DH5, Bancap HC, Dolacet, Lorcet 10/650, Lorcet HD, Lorcet Plus, Lortab, Lortab 10, Lortab 5/500, Lortab 7.5/500, Lortab Elixir, Norco, T-Gesic, Vicodin, Vicodin ES, Vicodin HP, and Zydone. Hydrocodone is a habit forming narcotic drug. It is possible become physically and/or psychologically dependent on the medication. Do not take more than the prescribed amount of medication or take it for longer than is directed by your doctor. Withdrawal effects may occur if Lortab is stopped suddenly after a few days or weeks of continuous use.

Unfortunately hydrocodone is all to easy to obtain from internet pharmacies without prescriptions.   Discount pharmacy sales can make it an easy drug to abuse.  Even when prescribed and used properly it has the dark side of withdrawal.  Recovery takes effort.

This website is dedicated to providing information on how to get through narcotic drug withdrawal.  It is also my ongoing personal story about recovery from my broken hip leading to prescription morphine, hydrocodone, oxycodone, hydromorphone, and other narcotics.  And how I finally found a doctor who gave me the information about how to withdraw (click here for drug withdrawal information) for a full recovery from a physical dependence on prescription Lortab™ / hydrocodone.
