Saving on ISP

Change your ISP to a cut-rate internet service provider @ $9.95 per month and save up to $140 per year.

You do not have to pay $24 or more a month for dialup internet service.  Unless you are isolated in an area with no options you can probably find a provider such as NetZero, Toast.net, PeoplePC Online, and now AOL Basic Internet for just $9.95 a month and for a few bucks more Juno or MFire can make the connection.  This all makes MSN at about $22 and AT&T and CompuServe at $20 per month (plus taxes and fees) look expensive. A quick Google search on the internet can help you find ISP’s that service your area.

People these days are moving toward high speed internet connections through their cable TV providers or phone companies but if you don’t need the speed, a dialup ISP is will work.  You can handle your email and light surfing needs just fine.  Pay only for what you need.

If you are going to convert from dialup to high speed, be sure to compare plans carefully and consider the VoIP telephone option to help pay for that high speed internet connection.  Play your cards right and you can end up with telephone and high speed internet and save money too.
